Ema Babić

I became interested in photography at the age of 12, and that's when I started taking photos with a mobile phone, and I started taking photography more seriously in 2017, when I joined Fotoklub Osijek(Photo Club Osijek) and continued in the following years.

Over the years I had the opportunity to practice different styles of photography including Portraits, Events, Macro, Abstract, Landscape, Architecture & Nature and some highlights of my work is available to be viewed in the portfolio section.

Throughout my career, I've participated in numerous competitions and exhibitions, earning notable recognitions. Some highlights include:

Winning first place in the "Razglednica moga mjesta - škljocni za sjećanje" photo competition (2018)

 Acceptance into the international competition "Međunarodni fotografski doživljaj baštine" (International Photographic Experience of Heritage) in Zagreb (2018)

Featured exhibitions: "Minijature Beli Manastir 2018" and "Knjiga svaki dan 2018"

Solo exhibition at Fotoklub Osijek (2018)

Participation in a photography workshop on camera obscura, hosted by Hrvatski Fotosavez (Croatian Photo Association)

Official photographer for multiple festivals and events

Featured in Kulturni centar Osijek's (Cultural Center Osijek) magazine "Kreativnost u samoizolaciji" (Creativity in self-isolation) and regional newspapers    

Recent achievements include:

Winning second place in Foto natječaj Planinarskog kluba Ivanec 2024. 

     Winning second place in the "XXIV. Izložba fotografija autora Osječko - baranjske županije" competition (2024)

Having my photo featured in the "Živjeti s Dravom" calendar for 2025.

Having my photo digitally showcased in the "My Exhibition Shot" exhibition at Artful Yoga Gallery, in Melbourne, Australia (2025) 

Having my photo digitally showcased in the "Your Favorite Nature Shot" exhibition at Sparks Gallery, in San Diego, California (2025)
